What is graphene?
Graphene is a single layer of carbon atoms arranged in a hexagonal, honeycomb-like structure that is one atom thick. It is known for being incredibly strong, flexible, and an excellent conductor of heat and electricity.
Graphene is used to enhance durability, add protective properties, and improve performance. Its key purposes include making coatings more resistant to corrosion, heat, and UV damage, creating a smoother, more hydrophobic surface that repels water and dirt, and providing antistatic and electromagnetic shielding. This leads to longer-lasting coatings and a need for less frequent polishing or repainting, which also reduces waste.
Why aluminum?
Aluminum is 7% of the Earth's crust, but the environmental appeal of aluminum is due primarily to its recyclability. In fact, aluminum is at the top of the recycling chain because of its infinite recyclability without any degradation in its quality. That’s why more than two-thirds of all the aluminum ever produced remains in use today. In contrast, less than 10% of all plastics EVER produced has been recycled. Recycling aluminum requires only 5% of the energy when compared with the production of native aluminum.

What are phthalates, and why are they bad?
